Job Summary:
To assist the Banking Center Manager in acieving the banking center''s goals while providing daily oversight of the branch. Put service first by doing more than our customer expects.
Job Duties:
Upon consultation with Banking Center Manager takes prompt action to address problem behavior within the branch.
Administer employee relations appropriately.
Provide a good role model for other branch personnel.
Maintain a positive attitude about change.
Originate Consumer Loan Requests.
Assist Banking Center Manager in the supervision, monitoring, training and evaluation of staff.
Provide oversight to maximize service levels through effective scheduling and floor management.
Minimize risk and promote loss prevention by communicating and following all policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.
Ensure that audits of cash, negotiable instruments and safe deposit box are being effectively performed.
Promote the ongoing education of staff members in policies, procedures, systems and products.
Coach and monitor the sales and referral efforts of branch personnel to meet individual and branch goals.
Perform banking center monthly self-audits
Meet the service needs of customers by performing account openings, consumer loan closings, cross-selling additional products and account maintenance.
May be responsible for processing customer transactions that include deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashing checks, etc. while providing an unparalleled client experience.
Will supervise Customer Service Representatives (CSR's), Lead CSR's, and Customer Service Associates.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Three to five years of prior Management, customer, and sales experience required.
Ability to train and supervise staff.
Strong customer service skills.
Excellent time-management skills.
Written and oral communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal relation skills.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills.
Professional and courteous with a contagiously positive attitude.
Must act and dress in a professional, courteous manner among employees, co-workers, business contacts, and all other individuals with whom this position is in contact.
General Working Conditions:
This position entails standing for long periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others, sit, stand, walk and use hands to handle keyboard, telephone, paper, files, and other equipment and objects. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. Occasional travel to different locations may be required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
