About JobAs a key member of the production control team, Ensures that all data/information for flawless material packaging to the plant.
Coordinates material flow activity, including material storage, part presentation, new program packaging, label req's, and supplier compliance.
This role provides exciting opportunity for the candidate to be part of the Foxconn's EV journey and grow with it.
Job Responsibilities Interfaces with suppliers, LLP, and plant floor on material packaging issues Resolves numerous issues dealing with suppliers, supplier contracts or buyer related packaging problems Responds to and resolves floor problems in the assigned floor area such standard pack discrepancies, packaging compliance coordination with the supplier, labeling, part misuse, and discrepancy reports Resolves other supplier non-conformances Monitor, assess, and mitigate supply chain risk.
Coordinates material activities surrounding a plan for every part for PV and all launch activities Manages material packaging on source/vendor changes Works with plant to process Service req's and packaging standards for outbound parts orders based on system requirements Works with plant to process Service req's and packaging standards for outbound parts orders based on system requirements Lead packaging RFQ for potential new business Manage returnable rack development Business case analysis on expendable vs.
returnable Education and Ideal Experience Bachelor's Degree (B.
S.
) in Supply Chain, Business, Packaging, or similar degree from an accredited college or university required.
Experience working with SAP system.
Ability to read and interpret drawings/technical requirements/specifications.
Speak effectively before groups of customers, suppliers, or employees of the organization.
Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.
).
Preferences and Qualifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills are an absolute requirement to establish and maintain professional, effective working relationship within and outside the company.
Must be self-directed with exceptional time management, prioritization, and organizational skills; Strong project management skills to keep team and actions on track to completion.
Prior background in automotive industries; Experience working in Automotive is a plus.
Demonstrated hands-on approach, analytical abilities, and attention to detail.
Motivated to learn and develop incredible on-the-job experience.
Work Environment and Physical Demands The factory has both office area and shop floor area.
The noise level in the office area is generally quiet.
Wearing of personal protective equipment's (PPE) when visiting the shop floor or when visiting a supplier's manufacturing locations is required.
