9K a year 3 days ago 3 days ago 3 days ago We are currently hiring for a PRN (with potential to change to full-time) Night Shift RN or LPN for our Detox Unit at Parkman Recovery/First Step Recovery.
Hours are 7pm - 7am.
Salary based on experience Job Duties Include:
Ensures that general health assessments are completed for all patients.
Facilitates referrals to physicians, dentists, and other health care professionals as indicated by the assessed needs of each patient.
Provide assistance to personnel in determining the appropriateness for admissions.
Participates in clinical staffing meetings.
Maintains appropriate patient health records.
Interacts with community agencies and refers patients to facilitate their health maintenance.
Provides medication protocols, detoxification protocols, and drug screening procedures.
Is available to other staff to address / answer concerns, provide after-hour directives and help problem solve patient related issues.
Insures the flow of information both horizontally and vertically within the organization.
Provides appropriate documentation for contract and system requirements and clinical best practice.
Makes sound, independent, cooperative and ethical decisions.
