ServiceMaster CDR is seeking a full-time Warehouse Technician for our Akron, OH location to join our energetic and dynamic team.
The Warehouse Technician is responsible for performing a wide variety of work to ensure that the facilities and equipment are maintained in a safe and effective working condition.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, modification and repair activities in assigned maintenance operations areas which may include building maintenance, asset management, and fleet vehicle maintenance.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee fleet vehicle maintenance, cleanliness and organization Ensure assigned vehicles are always washed and clean of trash and debris Maintain and keep company stored assets clean and in working condition Communicate and hold individuals accountable for improper behavior or misuse of company assets Maintain inventory levels of stocked supplies Maintain and continue to develop safety and security of the facilities daily Coordinate with Facilities Manager to develop and maintain up to date warehouse operations and procedures to keep up with workflow Ensure all new personnel in the facility are informed, educated of proper warehouse/safety/security of facilities Maintain the property in appearance and functionality Facilitate equipment repairs as needed Support office needs such as organization, cleanliness, and functionality as needed Assist field operations as needed (Large Loss) Work with field managers to accomplish jobsite deadlines and logistics (Large equipment and debris drops and pickups) Other duties as assigned EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / EDUCATION High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution Minimum of 1-3 years' prior warehouse experience required Basic knowledge and experience with hand tools Good with technology.
Ability to use smart phone Verbal and written communication skills.
Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to be self-directed as well as be a team player Ability to maneuver tow behind trailers Ability to handle multiple job responsibilities and open to taking on new responsibilities based on the company's needs Employee must possess the ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure Sense of urgency in responsiveness Ability to adapt to workplace environment and organizational change Unquestionable integrity and ability to work in a family-friendly environment Clean driving record, valid driver's license, and reliable transportation Must pass background check PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS Ability to work overtime, including some weekends as necessary Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation Physical job that requires working indoors, outdoors, and in varying temperatures depending on the current weather conditions Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time COMPENSATION & BENEFITS ServiceMaster CDR offers a professional environment, stability, upward mobility, and excellent benefits.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
